NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) certifies fire alarm professionals across four levels of increasing responsibility. Level III certification is the threshold required to take responsibility for inspection sign-offs and code-compliant system design.
The three technicians who passed this round each completed several hundred hours of documented field work and a comprehensive written examination covering NFPA 72, system design principles, and inspection protocols. They join a growing bench of senior technicians on our service team.
What this means for clients
- Faster turnaround on inspection reports and TIR filings
- Direct field-level design review for retrofits and upgrades
- More flexibility in scheduling — fewer single-points-of-failure for sign-off
- Continued investment in the people who design and maintain your systems
We invest in NICET certification because life safety isn’t a place to cut corners on training. The technicians who design and install your system are the same ones who’ll inspect it next year — that continuity is how we deliver consistent service across more than a thousand active sites.
